Gem Powered is an upgrade that allows the player to replenish the charge gauge by picking up gems.
When used in conjunction with the Gem Attractor upgrade, this can easily keep the player charged for longer combos, and when used with Safety Jetpack allows them to reset each time a gem is picked up, as the charge gauge is filled slightly and emptied again.
