Flying skulls are an enemy found in the Catacomb and Limbo-H that aimlessly fly around and ignore the player. When shot, they become immune to stomps and relentlessly pursue the player.

Strategy

Since they become aggravated when shot, eliminating them using a stomp would be the best option. They can also be taken out using weapons like Laser or Shotgun as they have sufficient firepower to kill flying skulls in a shot or two.

If they become aggressive, the player may choose to lure them to a more manageable spot or simply ignore them all together and continue descending.

Trivia

  • While it leaves a corpse upon death, its ground counterparts do not, despite also being skulls.
